Richmond County personal injury law

Richmond County personal injury law revolves around several concepts. "Tort" is defined as any wrongdoing by which an action for damages can be brought against those who caused the injury. When someone is physically or emotionally injured, or their personal property is damaged, it is considered by law to be a “personal injury.” The laws covering personal injury allow the injured party to receive compensation for damages caused by someone else’s carelessness, negligence, recklessness, or intentional actions.

Personal injury law is also called tort law. Federal and state governments have enacted tort laws for the protection of your rights. Richmond County personal injury law falls under those jurisdictions and exists solely to compensate those afflicted as a result of another person or party's action.
